Ok So I looked all over town and I could not find any tyvek filter..... I looked all over, hobby stores, hardware stores. Nothing...

Lowes or Home Depot have Tyvek painting suites all day long.

i got a pack of 50 tyvek envelopes at staples. each one can make 12 quart jar filters. it's like 30 bucks but i won't have to look for more in a loooong time. one layer is plenty, i haven't seen one contam since i started using them. any major office supply store should have their own brand of tyvek envelopes.

maybe somebody should start a collection of $$$ to buy large rolls of tyvek, then whoever buys in gets X number of feet.  they come in 4' and 9' rolls. i just might be into doing it if nobody else is, could just buy a roll and sell it by the foot to members. seems a lot of people have a hard time finding tyvek.

Thx brother.  I thought they would like that link.  I remember when I was provided that link 2 years ago and ordered 800 of them and still got like 600 of them lol.  I got enough tyvek to last along time.

USPS sent me a bunch for free! ROFL and I just noticed that I actually had a tyvek envelope. I wasn't sure what to expect.... I was expecting like a insert that was foamy.

TYVEK is also used for roof building, usualy sold in rolls . If you have any "shroomy" frends nearby , just order one and you will have unlimited amount tyvek for yoursef and your grand children.

I was going through my parents garage and found my old motorcycle cover. Plesently surprised to fined it was Tyvek.

wow the shit people go through to get tyvek...heres what i do...go to any home improvment store...lowes, home depot etc... and buy the longest roll of tyvek home wrap they have...i gaurantee they have it, itll probably be a 150ft x 3ft roll and itll cost about 100 bucks give or take... take it home and carefully unroll it about 30 ft... take some scissors and cut out about 10ft.  tape the two ends together and roll it back upp as tight as it came...and take it back...and you have a life time supply of free tyvek:awedance:
