Field blewit?

Is this a field blewit?

Pics:



Habitat: Woodchips/pine-needles substrate, I mostly see these on grass or right next to it on woodchips though.

Gills: White

Stem: Fibrous, whitish, bare.

Cap: Brown, very similar feel to wood blewits.

Spore print color: The ones I printed in the past where white, but this one I am still printing.

Smell:  Very similar smell to wood blewits, does seem a little different though.

Bruising: None detected

Location: CA, sacramento area

Melanoleuca is my  best guess. Wait for a T.I. though.

The next step is to put them in melzers reagent and see if they have amyloid warts.  Its cool how melzers just stains the spore ornamentation in Melanoleuca.  Very unique.
