Bisexuality
    #12034718 -

I think people have a natural inclination towards bisexuality and that we become "straight" by cultural conditioning.
I also think that people would have more fun and less psychological/emotional problems if they decide to fully explore their sexuality, without so many stuck-ups that aren't even theirs.
What are your thoughts on this?

I think most peoples cultural conditioning makes it impossible to take your suggestions seriously. Conditioning is very difficult to change and the longer you wait to try the harder it can be.

I also think that people act like they don't get turned on by jailbait due to cultural conditioning.

I think it's possible, though, that some people can be naturally straight--that is, they'd be straight whether or not they were conditioned to be.

It's one thing to simply enjoy a style of life that one enjoys, but it's another thing altogether to refer to another person's choice as "wrong" or to rationalize their behavior as being pathological or resulting from some sort of inadequacy or failing so as to create a sense of superiority or separation as yet another projection of a personal fear or control issue.

I think people have a natural inclination toward whatever they have a natural inclination toward.  Cultural conditioning of all kinds (even the rejection thereof) is a "natural" process.  Nothing is not natural.

I didn't say this phenomenon isn't natural because I think it is. However, I think that through this cultural conditioning, we get a selective expression of a behavior that otherwise would have looked different. I have no clue about the percentage of the difference, and I know that it would still be dependent on other cultural factors. My point was only that, this particular natural choice of "straightness" seems to be more detrimental to the emotional aspect, and that it inhibits all kinds of fun and pleasure that otherwise would enrich the quality of peoples' lives.

I feel when it comes to drawing lines this is one place where it is a little uneccessary, would it not make more sense to view human beings simply as sexual creatures, prefix or not. Throw a bunch of naked humans in a mud pit with music and I doubt they'll really care who is what, and likely follow their inclination to cause someone else pleasure regardless of gender.

If one finds themself an attractive person (perhaps feeling some vanity in front of a mirror) then I find it hard to believe that if  there were a different face imposed on top it would suddenly become unappealing. Nope, that's where the conditioning steps in.  :archiebunker:
