TBH, I don't really intend to make any conscious attempts to answer my questions.  Questioning, to me, is one the most important aspects of my personal philosophy, which I can't define in depth.  I ask lots of questions, they never get answered, and then I forget the questions I asked.  I ruminate more and then I regurgitate some of the same questions for the next go around.  I believe in the 3 'R's.:tongue2:

My own belief system does not have a name since I've cobbled it together piece by piece from many diverse philosophies and personal experiences, but on the whole I tend to veer more towards the LHP than the RHP.

Varies completely on who you talk to.  Some believe it is possible to literally become immortal through a process of self-divinification; others believe that this life is the only life you've got and to make the most out of your time here.

It is doubtful that anyone knows the truth for certain, but I would err on the side of caution and live as if this life were your last.

The book by Flowers that I mentioned earlier has a comprehensive summation of the beliefs of most LHP groups.  I'm sure you can find plenty of practitioners to talk to and a list of groups in your area if you visit any online occult forum.

If I can ever find it cheaper than what amazon's wanting then I might pick it up someday.  A couple of online reviews shows it to be a promising read.

Would it irk you to know that my first thought of a Satanist leads to Dan Akroyd wearing faux goat legs?  From the Dragnet movie with him and ....Tom Hanks?

well....guys,.....I'm done with this thread for a while.  I've started reminiscing over pop culture.

adios

Wait....I have to know my destination before I start out on a journey?  Dang-o.

Lol, you don't "have to know" anything before you start out on a journey. Interesting that you interpret it that way though. But then again I'm talking to a guy who said he feels trapped in a cage..

No I don't. I don't think spirituality exists outside the minds of emotional cripples.

So true. I have little to no respect for the vast majority of humans and I'm not opposed to letting them in on that at times.

I do play well with most canines and felines however and that will have to do.
