Won't really hurt as far as I know. If you are sterilizing properly it won't make a difference :wink:

yes and totally.

If you use grain spawn or a slice of colonized agar however, that's a different matter.
Then it's all cake.

Although H202 degrades at the temperature range required for sterilization (I'm pretty sure this applies even if using a no pc method.
So it's actually not going to make any difference at all.

Gentamicin on the other hand...

Might be the key.

If you put it in before you sterilize it, it won't, because the H2O2 would be destroyed, so wouldn't be around to do anything at all.

If you put it in after, pretty much nothing would grow, least of all your mushies.
