yeah im not at all sure as to how some people can experience something so profound like one does on psychedelics and just dismiss it as something completely irrelevant, some fantasy or a mere hallucination of no importance..i just dont get it..

They fail to realize that all self-reflection is a form of psychic confession and that during certain moments of extreme psychic perturbation, this confession can take on the nature of the inherently mystical. However, most lack the frame of reference or pureness of heart to truly appreciate the profundity revealed by the unconscious of our psyches during these moments of incredible splendor; in fact, to most it is more frightening than it is enlightening. The encounter with the unconscious, if one is "hiding" anything from oneself, is ultimately of a catastrophic nature.

Most would rather pan it as a peculiar experience of little value and leave it at that, because in reality, the experience challenged their very foundations of existential understanding.

Most would rather forget it rather than attempt to integrate it.

Perhaps they are just unable.
