i have feared this day for so many years--it's kind of a relief for things to finally be over

my face has been farted in

it happened last week, during a meditation retreat--this old asian man walked by me while i was sitting in meditation, and let one rip right at eye level--lucky they were closed, or else i may have gotten pink eye to boot

to make things worse, i had taken a vow of silence so i could do nothing but continue to sit in his cloud...

but then he farted again while he sat down, and it was almost as if the crackling thunder sent me recoiling into a flasback of my days as a face farter--i came to truly understand the error of these past actions--how they hurt me even more than those around me--i felt sorry for the old asian man, for he knew not what he did--and i think in that moment i worked through some real shit

let this be a lesson to all--karma is real and the farts that go around, come around

Yeah your a sadly dehumanized person. I've had very good friends that became homeless, I've slept on streets and benches at points in my life. You are no better and no worse than the homeless guy who's face you farted in. He is a reflection of your fears and anxieties and disgusts and you acted like a grade school kid. Nice.

I'm happy for your realization of past transgressions against people you've not gotten to know, and that you have found compassion for the people with faces at waist levels everywhere. Truly. you are so full of anger and fear, that you are unable to grasp onto the beauty of forgiveness

in order for me to forgive the old asian man for the act of farting in my face, i had to also forgive my own self for making the same mistake so many years back

and yet your attitude is so shit that you have taken my experience of understanding and forgiveness and sprayed your fecal matter of hate and anger all over my healing wound, hoping to infect me with these emotions as well--i do not except these gifts--take them back with you

i too was once like you, and went about farting in other peoples faces--both figuratively and literally--i understand you only act this way out of ignorance--i feel sorry for you nuentoter

I do not accept your anger, old man.

Buddha was walking into the city market one day and near the city entrance an old bitter man was sitting on a box glaring at Buddha, who carried a bright smile on his face. At the sight of him this old man started cursing Buddha up and down, left right and center, telling him how pretentious he was, how much better he thought he was and how he did nothing worthy of the air he breathed in this world. But Buddha simply smiled and kept on walking to the market to get what he needed.
The Next day Buddha returned to the market and once again that old man was there, this time his cursing intensified, screaming and yelling at Buddha as he walked by, cursing his mother, cursing his father and everyone else in his life.

This went on for the rest of the week and finally as the Buddha was leaving the market the man came up to him, as his curiousity had simply gotten the best of him.
“Buddha, every day you come here smiling and every day I curse your name, I curse your family and everything you believe in” the old man says ” but every day you enter this city with a smile knowing that I await you with my harsh tongue, and everyday you leave through the same entrance with that same smile. I know by speaking to you now that you are not deaf, why do you keep on smiling while I do nothing but scream the worst things I can think of to your face?”

Buddha, with the same smile still on his face looks at the old man and asks “If I were to bring you a gift tomorrow morning all wrapped up in a beautiful box would you accept it?” to which the old man replies “Absolutely not, I would take nothing from the likes of you!”. “Ah ha” the Buddha replies “Well if I were to offer you this gift and you were to refuse then who would this gift belong to?”. “It would still belong to you of course” answers the old man. “And so the same goes with your anger, when I choose not to accept your gift of anger , does it not then remain your own?”

What is it with blokes and farting lol (sorry, I just assumed your gender based on a stereotype) I tell my brother off for it all the time. He's like 'Oh, sorry I never meant that' But in the process lifts his leg to get leverage to expand his arsehole and pulls a smug satisfied grin on his face... :scat:
I'm like 'How would you like it if I done that!?'
And he's like 'No, please don't. I'm sensitive to smells'
And I'm like 'What? you think my nose is painted on?'
And he's like 'I'm sorry, I'll stop'
But continues his flatulence... So I start playing trump tunes out my fecal pipe and suddenly I'm the disgusting one!
Claims his farts don't smell! Why can't men hold it until they're alone?
