Well fucking duh.  Some don't want to have anything to do without handouts.  Many many others demand Obama pay their mortgage.

Neither I nor most of my readers need you to tell me what I wrote or what my assumptions are.  Nor do we need you or the government determining who we should be helping.  Anybody who gets my help should be grateful for it.  I don't owe them it and they aren't entitled to it.

Now how about you answer my questions.  Just how many people in their "families" should I be compelled to support?  Should the burger flippers pay fluctuate based on how many family members they support?  If he isn't happy flipping the burgers should he be allowed to go elsewhere and demand a job?  For the same or greater pay?

LOL.  Do you think weapons cause war and inequality?  US business causes sharia?  Overpopulation?  Droughts?  Dirty water in India?  Government repression in China, Korea, Cuba, etc?  What do you mean by deny?

This conversation is beyond hopeless.

No matter what your dumbass ignorant opinion is of brown immigrants, you'd have to be really stupid to deny that slavery exists in the USA.

The slave trade is booming today just like ever. Many families in "hopeless shithole" countries sell their daughters and sons into the slave trade, many of them to be used as prostitutes and sex slaves, others to become house servants and farm workers.

Hell, even some executives of the World Bank got busted owning slaves! The fact of the matter is that human beings and human labor are cheap these days. You can easily buy a person for anywhere between $500 and %5,000.

Endentured servitude is a whole 'nother topic, but is also very prevalent.

Forget North Korea, Zimbabwe, etc. There are countless millions, even into the billions, of hard-working poor people (or unemployed poor people who would seize the opportunity to go to school and/or work hard to improve the live of themselves & their family) who live in countries where the U.S. exports arms to and/or global businesses operate in... & thus provide funds for the rulers to have their police & military & maintain control over a population not terribly thrilled about their status... who despite their hard work or desire for meaningful education and/or employment live in poverty w/o quality housing, sanitation, healthcare, education for their children, and even food & water for around one billion. While at the same time those at the top of the global economic system live in luxury, often deriving their profits from the hard work of these people (e.g. Starbucks CEO compared to the farmers who grow Starbucks coffee in Ethiopia.)

And if the US didn't export those weapons they wouldn't exist?  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arms_industry
US $7454M  Russia $4588M Germany $3395M.  As we can see there is more than adequate capacity to produce and export arms even if the US didn't sell any.  And do the bulk of arms exported by the US actually repress a people?  Fighter jets?  Just stop.
Quote:

If one's basic principle of morality is some form of, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you," which most religions/societies claim that it is, then those currently in the privileged minority (which means both outside as well as inside countries where such a situation is pervasive) have an ethical obligation to pay living wages & the economic development/educational opportunities that comes with it on behalf of the hard-working poor people (who often produce the goods that they consume & their economies are enriched by), or those marginalized/unemployed but who want to contribute if given the opportunity. If, however, one's morality is based on some other belief, then this is not necessarily the case.

Hard-working poor people are a rarity.  Not showing up for work or slacking poor people are a commonplace.  Where do you get this idiotic notion that people in this country who are poor are hard-working?  Have you ever even had a job with poor people?  I have.  Every fucking one of them was poor through choices of their own.  Chronic absenteeism, chronic sloth on the job, drug and/or alcohol abuse.  Every one.  The funniest thing was that some of them actually thought they were working hard.  Mostly what they were working hard at was avoiding work.
I can't do anything about Zimbabwe.  But I can point to a tiny nation with shit resources where the people actually do work hard and have succeeded wonderfully.  It's a tiny nation on the Mediterranean beset all around by murdering lunatic regimes bent on it's detstruction.  Can you guess what it is?
Quote:
P.S. Although I'm not going to provide an example for every cause-and-effect that you ask about, industrial pollution does contribute to dirty water in India (and plenty of other places.) It has been well-documented where Coca-Cola bottling plants in parts of rural India, for example, have released waste water contained heavy metals out into nearby farmland, rendering it unproductive. This is an example of a myriad of factors (including overuse of freshwater by said plants) that have been working against poor farmers there, & have resulted in the greatest wave of suicides in history among the rural poor over the last few decades in India. The guilty parties in this particular example are people having both lighter & darker skin, in the U.S. & India alike. If these people adhered to the Golden Rule (which they do not but I'm sure that they publicly profess that they do), then yes, they have an obligation to provide assistance to the displaced farmers & their families. Moreover, they wouldn't have caused the environmental degradation & the ensuing human suffering in the first place if they did adhere to it.

I don't give two shits about their skin color, race baiter.  India uses its rivers as open sewers and has for millenia.  If you have a complaint about the state of India's rivers discuss it with the Indians.  They are the ones to blame for that.  They also like the money they make from industry.  Who knew?

Is that serious? I once heard someone (a native-born U.S. citizen) say something to the effect of, "They (migrant Hispanic workers) work hard & make me look bad." These people want "capitalism" when it suits their interests, but don't want it when it doesn't... not a commitment to principle at all.

The person who you heard say that obviously doesn't want capitalism, he wants protectionsm.  He is also lazy and NOT a hard worker.

To play the role of capitalist employer for a minute, why should people who don't want to work as hard as someone else demand that employers should pay them more for doing a worse job? Isn't this the "socialist" sense of entitlement that diminishes innovation & productivity?

Yes.  That's why I don't hire them.  They're also called union members in most circles.

I want legal immigration through proper legal channels.  It is not a necessary corollary of free market capitalism to have completely open borders, especially with our socialist tax structure.

I had someone say the same thing about me "slow down, you're making us
look bad", fact of the matter is that they made me look good because all
I was doing was my job, do you assume that by that statement that all
mexicans are hard workers or that all americans are as lazy as the guy
you talked to?

I worked a metal fab job, we leased space to a concrete pipe company to
store their product, 90% of their staff was hispanic, every day I had to
roust the fuckers off the property, they'd be sleeping in the pipes,
sometimes 3-4 of them at a time were hiding, when I was doing
construction it was no different, I'd fired dozens for hiding from work,
stealing tools from other subcontractors. it's unfortunate that I wasnt
the only one that could hire/fire people, I'd have hired americans at a
decent wage, I'd have fired them if I had half the problems out of them
as I did the hispanics

Quote:

capitalism as opposed to treason, sounds reasonable to me, what does
allowing the free flow of illegal labor in to undercut the domestic
labor force have to do with capitalism, is it socialism? the way I see
it, it's akin to treason to hire them since they come in without
background or health check and many pose a serious criminal threat

Quote:
To play the role of capitalist employer for a minute, why should people who don't want to work as hard as someone else demand that employers should pay them more for doing a worse job?

isnt that exactly what's happening, some illegal aliens are demanding a
living wage and as opposed to deportation they're given the chance to
sue anyone for anything... it's nice how you assume that just because
someone is not an illegal or hispanic that they'll do a worse job, I
find that as an employer it makes the day go by more efficiently, the
employees do a better job when communication is there, I dont have time
to sit around and say 'hey pedro, I know you speak english so quit with
the fucking jibba jabba and get the fuck back to work', last thing I
want to hear is "chinga tu madre, cabron..  me despertaste"

Quote:
Isn't this the "socialist" sense of entitlement that diminishes innovation & productivity?

you mean like the illegals coming here and demanding a 'living wage'
after beating an american out of a job when he agreed to do it for
minimum wage, maybe we can view the whole Aztlan movement or their
demands for immediate citizenship as a sense entitlement, do illegals
have a 'right' to come here and work?

Quote:
If you want to use government to put up these barriers to attempt to protect your own interests & thus interfere with the "free market,"

the barriers are already up, have been for more than a century, we have
laws regarding legal immigration and a large number have taken that
route, they've become citizens and put back into their communities, not
just take from them and send it all back over the border via western
union, the two biggest exports from the US to mexico right now is
automanufacturers and american cash... they're such a boost to our economy

Globally, this is not true. Further, if one claims that the U.S. is a "Christian nation," which most on the American right do, then the status quo cannot be justified based on the teachings of Christ. Any sincere adherent of this man's teachings would be adamant in their support of fair trade. However, if one does not claim to be such, then it is of no matter because whether working people (& those who want to work but don' have employment) throughout the world should be paid a living wage instead of living in poverty (for those who are) is not something that is correct or incorrect as it is an opinion, a preference that is based on one's underlying worldview.

If one claims that xenu seeded the earth from centauri 5 then aliens are to blame for all problems.

Globally much is fucked because people are not free to express their abilities to the utmost. Like they are in the US.

If you don't want illegal immigration, that's fine, but it wouldn't happen w/o those in power in the U.S. business/government establishment wanting it to happen for their own self-interest. If an American citizen doesn't like it, then they should hold the business/government establishment responsible instead of supporting them either by voting for these candidates & the business interests that they represent, or by not voting.

I agree, except for anything that says 'not voting'

Quote:
To scapegoat migrant Hispanic workers as the cause of society's ills (instead of arguing that it is an effect of a policy or lack thereof which is flawed)

well firstly, I'm not 'scapegoating' hispanic workers as there are
millions of hispanics living in the US that ARE citizens, with them I
have no issues, secondly no one is blaming all crime or joblessness on
hispanics or illegals but lets ask ourselves a question... how does a
problem end in resolution if it's not first identified

Quote:
when they could be removed by peaceful & democratic policy if the political/business will was there, is characteristic of (relatively) poor, uneducated, usually racist, and/or often rather lazy native-born U.S. citizens (which I'm not calling you as you have said you are a productive worker & I'm not disputing.)

the problem isnt the policy as it's in place, the problem seems to be
enforcement, if no one is preventing their entry, shipping them out or
doing anything that supports the policy, since it is in fact illegal to
hire illegal aliens, it is in fact a crime to enter this nation
illegally and since business doesnt get a vote in the general election
should they have any say in what the immigration policy is?

the stereotypes of 'american citizens' sure seem to push on the
boundaries of racism and yet you chose to call the 'opposition' racist

Wow.

Your astonishingly succinct, albeit untimely answer, has caused me to see the error in my limited way of thinking.

DEATH TO AMERICA! DOWN WITH WHITEY!
