Reasking a cloning question, HELP MOE !!!

Cloned my last shroom , cap open for a day...(Blenderized center of stem)
I had few problems with contams (lost a few jars out of 12) but I have noticed that my pinning in jars/fruiting in chamber is not as good as with the spore syringe I used last time. (First attempt at each) PF strain (Matias Romero) BRF, 1/2 pint jars, allowed pinning to form before removing from jars
Other variables that may affect the results ....
1. Temp varied from 60-90 during pinning stage (in jars). Mostly kept in 70-80 as called for though.( temp was more stable during spore syringe growth and fruiting)
2. Mushroom used was nearly mature rather than young and rapidly growing as called for. I am thinking that a not so fast growing shroom may have produced mycelium of a like mind.
Any thoughts?
On the plus side these are making better spore prints than the first batch.

Come on, has nobody had a different result when cloning? Is this a bad question? Tell me yes and I'll never ask it again!
I will let you know if things improve after the dunk I just did.....
