Do it.,..don't worry...only bad if you're trying to fruit them,...ther syringe tek is fine...be sterile though...have fun!

thanks mushroom_man,
well my first attempt was a failier! i mixed 2/3 cup dry rye berries with 2/3+1/4 h2o, in pint size canning jars.pressure cooked for 1 hr. pulled them out, and supprize-supprize, there seemed to be left over water(pasty). i could tell rite away they were not going to work so i pitched the shit, and now im looking for a better formula. i made that formula by looking at a formula that was for quart size batches, but i guess i must have miss calculated something. any suggestions?

You gotta cook dem berries first. Some soak overnight, some steam them. Read up, plenty of info.
