Simple Cloning Question..

A lot of my buddys shit went bad, but last batch beautiful. He wants to start some more up, and I was wondering about cloning. All his big dung guys are far gone, but he has some cakes that are still putting some out. (actually just one fruit still lingers).. I was wondering, would using this single mushroom and cloning it have a chance of being less fruitful than spores? I believe the question is possibly yes and no. What is ideal for cloning, your first, biggest shroom?

Also, if he wants to clone this baby, which would be nice, could he just use some sterile water, with the mushroom blended in it, hit up with a little peroxide? This should work fine, right? Thanks

Yeah youd probably get a better chance for better fruits from cloning that one, cause yo know you have a fruiting species.

I personally have never heard of blending it up and adding peroxide...Id liek to see if anyone has actually tried or gotten this to work however.

IF you want to clone, the best way about doing it, is to get some MEA and petri dishes.

yeah you can take a slice out of the stem and blend it up in water then inject this into new substrate. the growth will be very fast doing this. i usually just take some of the mycelium aftei birth a cake and put that in a jar mix and inject into new ones. works great. remember to be very clean while doing it.

can also use the simple honey tech posted in the grow find areas which is basically a hybrid idea of the tech described above .MEW
