the movie "Rushmore" was the shittiest

i remember when there where still some cheap ass theaters and this movie came out. worst crap i have ever seen in a theater. we should have walked out, i think it was a dollar.

surprisingly this turd of a movie has some odd following. its such a crapfest i hate to think of anything that is as hard to sit through as this besides maybe things in whole other genres

I completely disagree.  Rushmore was absolutely hilarious.  Have you seen any other Wes Anderson films?  If so, what did you think?

Haha, at the time I was debating to either see Office Space or Rushmore in theaters.

I made the right call with Office Space.

Like a year later I rented Rushmore and I maybe laughed once.  It was so F'n boring.

oh my god i would have been pissed, i didnt go see office space in the theaters because i didnt think about it and when it came out my friend introduced me to it. I would have loved to see that in the theaters, and would be pissed if for some reason i thought rushmore would be good.

i dont even remember why we picked that, but it was in the cheapies, and i dont remember office space being out then

Wes Anderson is a really unique film maker. you either love him or hate him.

i thought Rushmore was ok but far from his best work. Darjeeling Limited and Fantastic Mr Fox were amazing.

The Royal Tenanbaums and The Life Aquatic had the exact same type of humor as Rushmore.

I don't see how any movie could be lamer than Castaway.  Cloverfield was also really lame, but at least it is so corny it can make you laugh if you are tripping.

I own Darjeeling Limited.. absolutely love it.

Haven't yet seen Fantastic Mr. Fox but I look forward to it.
