Hey,

A bunch of friends and myself went out for our first mushroom gathering today and were hoping to get some of our find identified. We think type 1 as described below could be blue meanies. Close up pictures of gills, stem and cap are at the bottom of this post. Any help would be greatly appreciated also in regards to dosage as we do not have accurate scales available.

Habitat:
Cow paddock, in a tropical climate. Growing in cow dung.

Gills:
Type 1. Dark gray gills.
Type 2. light gray, seems like it gets lighter towards the tips of the gills.
Type 3. Really fine, neat gills. gray in colour.

Stem:
Type 1. thin stem, whitish colour that has dark blue bruising all over. hollow, thin.
Type 2. White stringy texture. didn't bruise after picking.seems mostly solid.
Type 3. brown stem that gradually turns whitish as it gets nears the cap. Hollow, feels slightly hard when bending.

Cap:
Type 1. Blue/dark coloured markings over the cap. Has some splits on the cap.
Type 2. white with gray around the bottom.
Type 3. a lot more bell shape than the others, grayish kind of colour, seems to have darkened since we picked it.

Bruising:
Type 1. Definite bruising after picking, blueish to a darker colour once picked.
Type 2. no bruising.
Type 3. no bruising.

Other information:
no other information i can really think of, feel free to ask any questions and ill try give you an answer.

Link 1 and 3 are either Panaelous foes or Cinctulus spore print them for a black print, if any other It's a foe. Link 2 is Panaelous Antrillium the bottom left in link 4 look like Panaeolus Cyanensis the blue stained ones and more foes or Cinctulus so spore print them.

Where we are located at the moment we don't have the materials available to do a spore print. From what I have been able to research it appears the species you have suggested for the Type 1 mushrooms are either psychoactive or harmless. Is this assumption correct? Or is there potential for them to be poisonous?

Post Edited:

Find attached closeup photos of the Type 1 Mushrooms we have, these seem to be the most likely candidates for containing psilocybin. Would these be enough to experience any effects for 2 people?

None of your mushrooms are toxic.  Only the blue staining ones are worth eating.
