Zombie apocalypse

First of all, the weapons to get the hell out of Dodge to the nearby supermarket supplying facility about 15 miles from here. Its much better than a mall, a factory dype building, no windows, steel doors surrounded my a high gate, flat roof for sniping action, lots of trucks parked inside, diesel pump on the grounds to fuel the trucks.

Lets say everyone who is unprotected is infected 28 days after :wink:

and summer and winter will weather the zombies down to immobility in 28 months after :yesnod:

assuming they are not rotting sooner than that (freeze and thaw a piece of meat a dozen times and see what you are left with, thats just one winter and then summer comes dehydrating the ruptured cells to a hard mass) We can ride that out, every food you can think of, lamp oil/spirits, matches, beer, wine and port whatever are available not off the shelf but by the forkliftload.

My immediate neighbors and I will start a small caravan to go there. To get the hell out of Dodge we arm the passengers with: the Auto Assault 12 with a 100 round drum of 00 buckshot set on semi-auto:

Though the Frag 12 shotgun grenade is tempting, it has no added value, increases the risk of Solanum-infested zombie brain splatter plus its pretty deafening so you can't hear nearby shuffles and moans which you really don't want to miss.

To hold our fortress sniper rifles and things like the AK47 with a 100 round drum, and high capacity pistols come to mind. Initially we won't kill them though or you'd get mountains of corpses which might enable other zombies to get over the fence, instead a primary weapon will be Supersoakers filled with cleaning products to corrode their eyes out (easier targets), geat a head start on their decomposition (wrapup), scent them (against zombie stink and as a warning one is close) and make them slippery (again to prevent them getting over the wall)

Over summer they become more immobile and more combustible due to dehydration so we can think of more active approaches of getting rid of them.

1..Get to our fortress
2..Let them come, weaken (supersoakers) but not kill them
3..Let the seasons wear them down and stop more from coming
4..End what is left of them.
5..Inherit the earth and have lots of unprotected sex in a tropical paradise island on a romantic beach by a campfire of mummified zombie bits :naughty:

Once it all grinds to a halt each survivor becomes the driver of a truck of preserves, we head for Rotterdam harbor, load up a cargo ship and its off to our tropical paradise island where the climate has ensured the zombies which barely move in our climate arent even recognizable anymore.

Cans of many types of food will last 50 years if well selected, resterilized and cleaned up before cooking.
