i meant half the tubs but...

i suppose that shows that if you give it the choice it will choose the half with a nicer micro-climate.

umm maybe this is why my past few monotubs have sucked balls. Especially Chitwans and Oakridge. I didn't case them because I didnt case the trays  I did in a shotgun. But in that, I guess it had a outside source of humidity (perlite) hmm. I have some monos on the way, I guess im gonna start casing. Do you consolidate and then case??

Wasn't directed at you FF. Humidity was 40% if I recall correctly. For someone who doesn't really know what they are doing casing can cause more trouble than benefits. Just be careful.

Dude, he was trying to help you. A picture can worth a thousand words. I know this is your thread, but no one is derailing it. That's a sure way to get people to quit helping you, talking to everyone like that. Whatever though, your thread. You can count me out of helping some asshole newb telling people not to post relative information in the thread.

What's the humidity like in your house? I noticed you live in Montreal so I'm guessing you have the heat on a lot. I'm a bit further south in Ontario and growing in the winter is giving me some significant trouble with humidity whereas spring/summer/fall was no problem. I think in the future I'll be casing whenever it's cold out and the furnance is on.

No disrepect to anyone, but I don't think some people realize how different their climate can be from someone elses, especially if you're from Canada and they're from a region where cubes grow outside, lol.

 for casing in the winter!! Not sure what the humidity is in my house, but its been pretty cold outside, I know that. Plus I have baseboard heaters, and a dehydrator in my room that runs 24/7. I keep that sucker full. Im always rotating out tubs, like right now. I have 6 fruiting, 8 consolidating, and another 8 colonizing, and 98quart jars of PE colonizing. I pimp out madd jars.

Not sure the reasoning behind this question. But for some of the jars yes, for others no. I have alot of pots and tubs and buckets and such.

My foaf is another who has learned that casing in the winter months is almost imperative given the low Rh,plus running the heat. For location ,she is even further south near Philly and is having the same issues. In the summer thru the beginning of fall, uncased w/ out issues, she prefers uncased as well, but is forced to meet the micro climate conditions that are damn near impossible if left idle in the winter.

Kept true to my word, but certainly not at your request. It's not a big deal and if it truly bothers you that much, grow up.
