Because questions aren't allowed.  That forum really is a playhouse with a no jerks allowed sign on the front.  What I'm attempting to prevent from happening here.  Different jerks, is all.  I don't think we ought to discriminate.  Its philosophy.

Miscommunication is the biggest problem with this forum and the funny, but useless arguments that occur from it.

I treat this forum like a book whenever I can so I am not looking to improve it much, though I would like to see every acknowledge this and then watch the results in arguments. I bet most of our beliefs would harmonize, because I bet that most philosophical disagreements and agreements are based on arbitrary meanings.

Everytime I posted something on it, I was very disapointed and began to suspect that this place was more about self-gratification rather than a pursuit and love of knowledge.

i was done posting for the day here... and i still hated to but went back anyway for like a post of two. (seriously, hated it)

but fuck that... i like taking a stand on belligerence. and there is plenty around here. you...

remember that scene in poltergiest when the douche-bag contruction workers are calling on that daughter in the family, there,... well, she gives 'em a gesture of disgust and offenceivness... that's what i give you sir. ; (

(oh yeah, and the fun is sucked out of this forum mostly too; shouldn't learning about yourselves be fun, kids?)

(PS, you'd probably like anything from jörg burger, such as burger/ink - las vegas... check that out to because hummina hummina it is some funky minimal techno, that belongs in on a street corner at all times)

i am having fun as well... at the expense of possibly being banned, but nevertheless. :shrug:

it's not me who is complaining, but i am sharing agreeance on certain points of view and disagreeance on others, which is probably gonna get me banned too.

(and having to re-write things cause of your gay computer doesn't help things at all)

What is "genuinely unhappy"?

I'm unhappy with so many people pretending to be nice in the forum and then showing in PM that they are actually irascible, vindictive and quite likely, mentally ill. I'm also dulled by all the child's play. Otherwise, I don't expect PS&P to be a different type of forum than it is.



Join the club.  There are many ways to change the forum into something better, in my view, than what it is.  Yes, you are correct.  Many people here are mentally ill.  I've known this since I was a moderator here in '02.  Some of them are still here and others have joined their ranks.

The major problem with the forum stems from the administration's lack of support for the mods if they attempt any kind of serious change.  That's the way it was and is.  There's a whole scene behind the scenes with a ring leader.  I don't need to point out who he is.  You've received Pm's from him.  This forum is his life (even though he would never admit to that).

I have five people on ignore.  All but one of them are from here.

Not much to do but roll with the punches.  Sorry to hear of your displeasure.
