Do Benzodiazepines Dampen/Cancel Out Shrooms?

Do benzodiazepines, specifically Klonopin 2mg (clonazepam), really dampen or cancel out mushrooms highs? I've only actually heard this once from one person mentioning off-hand that he takes benzos to stop a trip that's starting to go bad.

I ask this because I took my Klonopin prescription dose this morning and I was wondering if it will affect my trip I plan on taking later on in the evening. Just as a side not, I have a very high cross-drug tolerance.

it helps when you start to get that bad feeling before a bad trip but it doesent stop the trip.I like to pop a couple when im coming down, or if i start to geek out.

I heard antipsychotics dampen trips drastically. Like risperdon?

benzos dont look at gyms they have a similar compound to benzos in them it jus makes it less edgy
