Shrooms and Benzos

Is there anyone out who take Benzos with their shrooms? My close friend takes Ativan and Klonopin by prescription, 3x a day. He says they interfere, almost conflict with, the trip. Or maybe not, he?s tripping so it?s hard to judge. Here is a scenario. 2.5g dried shrooms, 1 mg klonopin, 2mg ativan. Here are the effects. Person goes to sleep and has amnesia for the first 2.5 ? 3 hours of the trip. That has happened a couple of times, sometimes not. Sometimes person stays awake. That?s why I say it?s hard to judge. But when that person is asleep the trip continues, but it?s a kind of evil and nasty internal forgotten feeling. Like waking up from a nightmare and immediately forgetting what it was about. Not to mention the shock of being woken 2.5 hours into a fairly strong trip. Highest dose was 3g shrooms, 2mg klonopin, 4mg ativan. Definite amnesia and total sleep that time, for 3.5 hours. Weird. Anyone else have the same experience(s)?

I don't take Ativan's regularly but I did begin taking 1-2 mg's with my shrooms recently. I did this because my trips have always been extremely paranoid, anxious, and uncomfortable, and i thought they might relieve some of that. They DEFINITELY do. And if 1-2 mg Ativan does it for me, then the Klonopin PLUS Ativan probably does really reduce your friend's mental trip. Seems like he should still get decent visuals though...anyway, now that i've tripped on benzo's i'll never go back to the paranoid, anxiety-ridden trips of old.
