look at the fucking topic of this thread

your gonna tell me I can't use bible verses in a thread about my beliefs?

thats bullshit and its so obvious to anyone with half a brain

So I have less than half a brain. I get by just fine though. :braindamage:

no you just had a little power trip which your now trying to justify

Wrong.

Life Upon Death said:
so let me get this straight

its perfectly acceptable to start call out threads in an attempt to belittle someones beliefs

but when that person defends those beliefs they are at fault?

Been through this many times. There is a difference between malicious and philosophical intent.

The point of this forum is not to defend and preach beliefs (do that elsewhere, say M&P). The point is to discuss, debate, criticize, flex and investigate beliefs, ideas, feelings, assumptions, etc.

but we can start threads belittling others beliefs which seems to be a common theme around here lately

if you think everyone is rationally discussing their beliefs here then your deceiving yourself

everyone is preaching something

Proverbs 1:

20Wisdom shouts in the street,
        She lifts her voice in the square;
    21At the head of the noisy streets she cries out;
        At the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her sayings:
    22"How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded?
        And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing
        And fools hate knowledge?

    23"Turn to my reproof,
        Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
        I will make my words known to you.
    24"Because I called and you refused,
        I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention;
    25And you neglected all my counsel
        And did not want my reproof;
    26I will also laugh at your calamity;
        I will mock when your dread comes,
    27When your dread comes like a storm
        And your calamity comes like a whirlwind,
        When distress and anguish come upon you.
    28"Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
        They will seek me diligently but they will not find me,
    29Because they hated knowledge
        And did not choose the fear of the LORD.
    30"They would not accept my counsel,
        They spurned all my reproof.
    31"So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way
        And be satiated with their own devices.
    32"For the waywardness of the naive will kill them,
        And the complacency of fools will destroy them.
    33"But he who listens to me shall live securely
        And will be at ease from the dread of evil."

Why do you post this shit in this forum? :what:

It's one thing to simply enjoy a style of life that one enjoys, but it's another thing altogether to refer to another person's choice as "wrong" or to rationalize their behavior as being pathological or resulting from some sort of inadequacy or failing so as to create a sense of superiority or separation as yet another projection of a personal fear or control issue.

He reminds me of those guys you see waving picket signs at street corners warning everyone with a megaphone about how "the time is near" and that everyone should "repent".

Its like trying to debate that apples are better than video games. Your using 2 completely different thought process. One is based on logic and understanding while the other is based on Faith and belief. Especially on this board your just wasting your time.
