Translation:
"thousands of full-time working people pulling decent wages and benifits retired, or more likeley were laid off, or fired for bullshit reasons, to be replaced by MORE part-timers at a lower wage who will not receive benefits, causing the appearance of a lower unemployment rate while similtaneously reducing the quality of life for all.  While also masking economic downturns by maintaining corperate revenues."

statement:
"unemployment rates are very low, reflecting stregnth in the economy and a positive economic outlook. Employment workshops are busier than ever with people applying for new and better jobs"

Translation:
"Theres alot of cheap, shit-jobs around, all at part-time, all without benefits, nobody want's them, but HAS to work them to live,  Still, it's not enough.  Personal and family depts are soaring, People are getting used to low expectations."

Statement: "less people are applying for unemployment"

Translation : "less people are holding jobs long enough to be eligable for unemployment, OR can't afford to live on it and have to take whatever shit job(s) will hire them first,  OR are turning to crime.


But hey, we still live above (and at the expense of) the Third world. SO who is complianing right?

By the way, kids today are a disease, and their ineffectual parents enable them towards the worst behaviour. Ruin is pusing at the threshold of a shadow that we take for granted as society. It's all going to get very bad very soon.

Just a heads-up, Though, I immagine it's stating the obvious at this point.  Dire is the time, when it is the duty of good men to constantly restate the obvious.

it's actually higher than it was under bush but the real reanslation is
that millions have lost their unemployment benefits and are no longer
counts as 'unemployed' even though they have no job

current unemployment is above 10.2% (that's those being counted because
they get an unemployment check) under bush we were around 8% unemployment

My observations are strictly canadian, But i would expect a simmilar trend in the US, considering the border is only symbolic of the archaic religion of nationalisim at this point.

All our resources are pretty much sold back to us as is at a markup.  We call that progress and good relations.  We depend on it for the corperate economy, Yet it cripples our ability to spend by taking money from the consumer and pissing it over the border.

Ill probably move to China when this job I have now plays out.  There are plenty of jobs for engineers and you can grow peyote and use it.

Anyone of any intelligence on here shouldn't get a vasectomy... You're only contributing to the problem its like:
I seen a lot of people on this site who i deem to be pretty clever say i never want a kid..then complain about how shit our society and general world is getting. However, they are the only people who can make a difference by having a child and raising them right, not to be a dumbass...and make a difference. Rather than Muhammed down the road who has 12 kids who all fail at school, and believe in all sorts of shit wich is hindering progress.

Finding a job right now is brutal. The one I have has shit hours (on call all the time) and pays shit.

I've applied through about 40-50 jobs through craigslist, the newspaper, and in person. I've gotten 3 interviews. One of which was a scam, the other two didn't want me.

I'm trying to start my own business but that requires money, which I do not have. In the meantime, I have to stop smoking pot in case some job which drug tests happens to want me.

true. however, my reason for not wanting a child isnt cause i dont want them to grow up in a shit society, its cause i dont believe i have the ability to properly care for it.

i can barely take care of myself. i dont want to ruin someone elses life cause i cant get my shit together.
