Re: Fruiting in Jars?

Well, I know the method isn't really popular, but I am doing it right now. The cake will remain in the jar all the way until the final flush. I hear that it works.I will let you know how it goes.

PF/MR has a great habit of massive pinning in the jar. In my experience I had seen jars with fully grown shrooms in-vitro even while another 78% of the jar needed to finish colonization.

You won't have this type of activity with other strains so keep in mind what the PF Tek was written for.

I think that what you want to do is wait until you see primordia before you birth the cake. This is supposed to maximize the first flush, because more of the pinheads will reach maturity rather than just abhort. I'm not quite sure if this is correct, but I know that you are still supposed to birth the cake.
