Lawn mushroom, seen a few of these lately...id.
    #11387176 -

Habitat: Carpet grass (lawn) with lots of oak leaves scattered about.

Gills: Nice and white, attached to both stipe and outer edge of cap.

Stem: White, solid through, kind of grainy when broken. Also has some pores in it.

Cap: Off white, what looks like darker spores on the cap staining it. See pics.

Spore print color: Did not have ability to take at this time.

Bruising: None seen during the 10 minutes I had it in my possession.

Location: south texas area, 30 minutes from gulf coast, temps have been between 50F and 80F.

I thought russula was usually a reddish cap, that's what the name means....

Ahhh...white russulas....found some more info...looks alot closer, and the top center of the cap does indeed look a bit dimpled.
