My first Lib?
    #11360812 -

Kent, South East England, UK
So i went out this morning, 7 oclock, it was slightly spitting but none the less i felt i managed to get up then i can manage to go looking. The spitting stopped by time i got there.

Took me about 15 minutes to get to the place, never been there before, but its got lots of sheep, in a field with a river going through it. There was also a horse  the horse kept staring at me. Oh did i mention the field was over the railway tracks? so yeh i had to climb a few gates..

Now when i got into the field, i saw some mushrooms which i had no idea what they were, heres a couple, any ID on these would be good for my general info.

These last two were really slimey to touch.

Kept seein these little bastards...

Which you probably think does not look like libs, but to me, they do from above till you have a closer look.

But then i looked down and saw a Lib! well i think its a lib, the stalk broke of pretty easy, but hey a libs a lib, if it is a lib :crazy2::crazy2: Just one, on its own. :mad2: But i kept looking and found a smaller one close by, i think (if they are libs). As i left i found another i think it is, less certain on it, but yeh if you can tell me if they are or not it would be awsome.

I was so pissed off! a whole field, a whole hour, and 3 caps! Ah well football now  might go to a spot with sheep in up the other way later. Heres the river in the field, i was sure i would find one on the banks of it, but nothing!!

Any feedback is appreciated.

One two and three (of the "lib" photos, and im assuming they're all the same mushroom) look like them to me. But those others no. Some panaeolus or something.

Oh and those "little bastards" are the mycenas. And they dont like to talked down to. They may be small but they come in big numbers....they kick yo ass!!

I will confess something that should be quite obvious, CC.  I love mushrooms, i.e. fungi.  I really do.  I am talking about a strong feeling, i.e. emotion, for them.  I think they are beautiful.  I even dream of them.

Half of that is plenty for a mellow first trip. Fifty will rock your socks. They aren't subbs.

#2 of the ones you think are libs is a Panaeolus papilionaceus (P. sphinctrinus).

Well, you got two, actually. #1 and #3 of your suspects are libs.

I found these today in my garden. I want to be sure before I take them that they are indeed Liberty Caps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
