libs are up and chilling with a few subs
    #408367 - 09/29/01 02:06 PM (23 years, 9 days ago)

Well I found some liberty caps yesturday. They are not u[p in force but a small amount are fruiting up here in the skagit valley. I also found for the first time some pan subs but those were also not in ANY abundance, in fact i only found 3 specimens of the subs. I wasnt really expecting to find much so i didnt bother taking my digi into the field, i however took a group shot of all my sept 28th finds and if i wasnt such a lazy bastard i would try and upload it now but i am not really feeling motivated at this point.

The moral of this message is that the liberty caps are starting to fruit yes indeed, if we had a few solid days of rain they would be alot happier tho and fruit in abundance.

awesome!

Take the digital camera man! Although I'll never find them down here, I wanna see some pics of those libs. I've yet to see any pics of them in this forum =\

Peace out,
-Gumby

Well gumby i posted a bunch of lib pics last fall. I will get the digi out there and take some pics in the next few weeks when they are coming up in more abundance. Also i hate to admit such a thing can happen but i am so preoccupied with picking mushrooms that i usually (seriously i have done this a number of times) set the digital camera down and walk off and then realize i cant find the camera, i have spent a great deal of time searching a field for the camera i set down after taking some pics of a patch. Its a bitch and if i didnt spend so much time inhaling the greenery i am sure it could be avoided but alas.

awesome!

cardboard, if i may ask...where were you hunting...i wasn't sure if it was a good time to start looking due to the lack of consistent rain. not exact location unless you feel comfortable pm'ing me with it, just a general area. but i understand if you do not feel comfortable revealing that info.[question]
