My first Post - Fly Agaric (amanita muscaria)

Hey everyone, been hovering around here for the past month or so and successfully got my first 200 libs today but decided it was time I uploaded some of my fly agaric pics as they are my favourite looking mushie. I only started hunting and getting interested in mushrooms this year so when i saw these guys i was pretty happy.... especially seeing as id never seen them before :grin:

Im no photographer but i do try :tongue:

Where do you live? They are less common in the east US, but they still grow prettty much everywhere.

Nice finds Dicky21!!! I love all Amanita species....

cheers Twiztidsage ...... I could photograph them all day or til my camera's battery runs flat. I live in London and these were in a very old forest pretty close to home.  Im not sure if you're aware but there is a connection between these and birch trees and funily enough once i armed myself with this knowledge i managed to find a lot more :thumbup:

I've found lots of libs this year! Thinking of doing some today...... It just if i do them then what do i do? sit in my room bored on my own, doesn't seem like too much fun to me. Any suggestions?

haha .... well these are my first find and my first hunt ever... and considering im from London i don't think i did too bad. Ive got a total of 3 fields that all produce which is good me thinks.

Ive never tried mushies before but don't think ill be doing them on my own first time. Its definitely something id want to do with someone else...
