SUB= Straight coir

STRAIN = plead the 5th

TEK= monotub

its a great strain and dies AMAZING on straight coir..


The tub in that pic is pinning more than i have ever seen and was spawned at a 1;8 ratio to straight coir with some gypsum..

i believe the low spawn ratio added a ton of nutes

Coir normally is enriched with nutrients, because it's used as a substitute for potting soil (and plants need nutes too...).

But you're right: non-enriched coir doesn't contain any nutrients!
