Well the best of the batch was Amazon. That was Multi Spore to LC (2 Tbsp Karo to 500mL H2O) to WBS 3Qts to Manure enriched Coir 7Qts.(4 cups of dry pelletized manure to 1 brick of coir).

This one is crumbled B+ cakes that I never dunked.  I just crumbled and cased them.  I was just curious how they'd work out.  Not too well I'm afraid.  Next time I'll dunk them first then crumble them. 


These were Treasure Coast I think from manure cakes that I crumbled and also didn't dunk.  Though I did toss away any  really dry bits that I crumbled from these.  You'll have to go through my other posts to see details about those. 


This one is Penis Envy.  I've no idea what happened here with the weirdos in the middle. The rest show clear signs of being PE.  I seem to get a lot of weird mutations with PE.  Super fat ones tall normal looking cubes and everything in between.  It's a strange strain.

My PE6 do the same thing. Sometimes they come out with very PE-looking characteristics, and sometimes they show the Texas phenotype very much like the larger fruits in your picture. Maybe someone sent you PE6 by mistake.

Got it from a vendor.  It was one of those free syringes you some times get 'hooked up' with.   I actually started growing PE on a whim just to use the syringe.  I'm  impressed with the strain.  Very fast colonizer making it quite contamination resistant.  Also the fruit bodies are very dense.  Might have been PE6 just mislabeled.  It was free.  Who am I to complain right?

Yep B+ is my old stand by.  Love that strain like it's a pet.  This is my first try at Amazon but I like what I see so far.  Great first flush.  We'll have to see what later flushes bring.  Finally no I generally don't grow this vastly.  I've just kind of ramped up to this point.  Right now I'm only running one Martha and my last mono tub is on it's last flush.  Usually I run both Marthas and two mono tubs but the Marthas aren't usually this full plus I still grow out some cakes now and then when I'm trying out a strain.  Cakes just don't produce well enough for the space they take up in the Martha.  Better off leaving them in a RR style FC.  I just hate using them.  Perlite EVERYWHERE.  I hate that.  I had to clear out one martha and recalibrate it to work for Pans.  The 4 Pan Goliath trays should be ready to be cased in about 4 to 6 days I would imagine.  Also when these are done colonizing I'll crumble them into manure/coir at a 4:1 ratio of manure to cakes and put them in my 4 currently empty monotubs.  I experiment a lot to see what I like and what works and what doesn't.  So I'm always growing but the scale varies drastically.  Next week this is all that will be growing. 
I just ramped up to this point because Summer is coming.  I'll have lots of friends coming over and such and I want to shut down for the summer.  Or at least take it down to just Mono tubs so I can hide the grow when necessary.

Thanks Blut!  It certainly is nice to get kudos from a guy that accidentally grows more mushrooms in the back of his car than I do on purpose. :P  I dunno man.  All my Treasure coast are like this every time.  Could be the vendor mixed up the strain could be me but I don't think so.  My friend has similar results but of course they are from the same syringe.  I made 6 quarts of LC and gave a couple to him.  If they aren't TC then the vendor is likely meddling with the strain and selecting for certain qualities perhaps.  I often wonder if vendors run out of one thing if they don't just slap a false label on something that looks semi close and assume we won't look under a microscope.  I don't even own a microscope.
