In light of the 'people's faces' thread, I thought this might be a fun one too.
I'll start off... Besides a decent pair of shoes, this is what I usually bring along:

Hah! It's a flashlight. I end up out when it's dark a lot and it helps when diging through thorn bushes during sunset.

As of lately I acquired a basket. I also have my camera, back pack, water and a knife. Plus dont forget the bud.

I get a new pair of gloves every week (they're only $2) and use them to move brush out of the way without getting poked or burned by stinging nettle.
The scissors are my favorite pair ever! They are Klein electrician's scissors (you can get 'em at Lowe's or Home Depot) and they'll cut through just about anything. I get a nice slice with them when snipping shroom stems and they fit well in my jeans pocket.
Ok... I think that covers everything but the water, paper bag, and smokes. I'm pretty sure you guys can figure out what all that is for.

I usually take a backpack, a couple paper bags, a knife or scissors (maybe both), bottle of water, camera, reefer, can of griz, a cloaking device and sometimes a field guide.

I take a morel mesh bag, i take big paper bags with handles(central market has awesome bags), i take a notebook to take notes, water, camera, borescope(most of the time, waxpaper, a porcini knife and scissors.

Everyone should own a good set of handheld pruning shears. Helps getting all the rose bushes and brambles out of your way to get to the mushrooms that like to hide under them.
