Okay time to get this started
i have patiently waited one year to this day to post this.
Lets see some Jack O lanterns- it doesn't have to be faces any lighted carving will do. a shroomery themed one might land you more points.
To qualify all you need is a shroomery sign in one shot(your user name or(The)Shroomery and one lit up picture. and no entries in other jack o lantern contest.
So this will be open until October 30th. and i will put a poll up from that date till Halloween to determine the winner.
First place will get....l
prizes will be determined as time gos on, but the the prizes will b great.
I have taken the liberty to talk to sporworks and create
Sporeworks coupons, these will have actual values on them most likely $2-20
sporeworks already has my donation and the first coupons will be given out for this contest.
1st place on the jack o lanterns will be
$30 sporeworks coupon and a print of both atl#7 and Jalisco
2nd = $15 sporeworks coupon and a one print between the atl and jalisco
3rd = $5 sporeworks coupon
for the Make a Shroom contest $10 sporeworks coupons will go to both the largest patch and best patch.
i'm sure others will add and i will add more within the next few days
and as far as i know fltdriver82 is throwingg in "A Cube syringe of your choice from Ralphsters (In honor of him upgrading his website) I am planning on placing an order and will add your choice to the order. Will ship syringe once I receive the order."

i have also deiced that since not everyone is good at carving i will have a 2nd contest
for this you need two or more (pumpkins,gourds, squash, w/e) made into mushrooms.

hey stupid question;
i have started my pumpking and its looking great. but heres the problem, i dont have a carving knife. im so fucking poor at the moment i cant drop $5 on a set of pumpkin knifes, yes im pathetic.
does anyone know of something common around the house that i could use for detail? i have cut out all the big sections but as for doing facial details, my steak knifes dont do much.
meanwhile, thanks for another great contest! i need to make some money so i can get to work on my entries.

It would be "pumpkining" if you are using it as a verb.
A scalpel or exacto knife might suffice.

and rig it up to a handle
that should be thin enough
and sharp too

ok i see, by thin i mean all around not just the blade. a razor would be to wide. i have tiny parts to cut out the width of a pencil and similar.
