Everyone seems to have a different idea of what it's about. While making it I tried to get first takes and cultivate a sense of mysterious anxiety and confusion, so a lot of it doesn't have much of an explanation - it's pretty open ended, the symbols are multilayered. Some people see it as being about guilt, for killing someone. I originally thought of the body as being a sort of symbol for the man's own death, and the film was a microcosmic view of his whole life - trying to live and do things while always being concerned about death, and in the end, he doesn't manage to deal with it.

wow.. how terrible.. lovely how people can put any garbage out these days and call it "indie" film or some other term for it.. sorry I just really hated everything about it.. nothing made any sense and it's just too open ended for my liking. The audio was garbage too

It was a generalization of all the bad film makers out there who put out stuff based purely on the fact thats its different, therefor making it amazing.. when in turn, the viewer has to do all the leg work to try to get an idea of whats going on. Hey if u like that its your thing. I prefer to get some definitive message in which I can come to my own conclusion and know what I've come to.. And Pi is one of my favorite movies, and I can not make any connection with this and such a beautifully amazing work as pi.

To my mind, hatred of art is better than ambivalence. LeegoAlternativo, I feel good that at least the film produced a heated response inside your mind!

We didn't really have any pretensions of making something "different", we just tried to express the feelings we had at the time as honestly as we could with the knowledge, tools, and time limits we had.
