Adding gypsum with pf tek

I heard that you should add 1 teaspoonful of gypsum if you're making 5 jars of pf tek, is this really necessary? Does it affect much on how the growth turn out to be?

its not needed, its an "if you want to" additive, it will give you healthier mushies by giving them calcium and sulpher which mushies luv.


sounds right, just a lil bit is all you need, too much and it will turn your cakes into bricks.

sounds about right i just add some i dont do cakes anymore but that sounds good

done it before ... cakes seemed to take a bit longer but that could have been just the genetics ... to be honest though i didn't notice any real difference in yield or quality ...

do what you feel comfortable with you would have to add a lot of gypsum to fuck it up.  Teaspoon tablespoon aint going to make that much of a difference IMO

If you've got it, by all means use it.  If not, don't lose sleep. If you have it next grow, It'll be fun to look for differences, no?
