Guess what I just did

I just had a good talk.

Then I punched my car like 10 times.

Then I took my shirt off and stood in the rain.

Then I took my keyboard and guitar and amp and keyboard bench and office chair and threw them in the rain and chopped them all up with an axe.

Then I shaved half of my head and my electric razor died.

Fueled by nothing but alcohol and emotions.

I can't stop shaking.

Nothing worth the 800 some dollars of damage I just did to myself.

Just cleaned up the yard.

No drugs were involved except alcohol.

All that is left is to try and save face in the morning.

That sucks man, we've all been there before.

As cheesy as it sounds, there's a quote off a South Park episode that I heard when in the throes of a violent depression stint from my first love that I always look back to and it helps.

It's said in the context of one of the boys getting dumped and does he want to go and write poems about death and sadness, his reply is:

"Well yeah, and I'm sad, but at the same time I'm really happy that something could make me feel that sad.

It's like, it makes me feel alive, you know? It makes me feel human. And the only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt somethin' really good before.

Things suck now and you've obviously made it worse, but life goes and and time does heal.  Just look forward to the times the you will feel so on top of the world and that life is so beautiful, but in order to feel that elated you need to understand the opposite end of the spectrum.
