Mushroom Potency

Whats up guys

I know this is on the wrong forum, but it's just a quick question that a lot of you could probably answer and this forum has the most amount of viewers so i posted here so i don't have to wait long. I'd appreciate a reply.

I know mushrooms need to be kept in a cool, dark, dry area. But I'm not sure how crucial the dryness is when affecting potency.

About 5 weeks ago someone i know had made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with four grams of mushrooms on it but only ate half...so they placed the other half in an airtight ziplock bag which was put in the fridge. Would that half of sandwich still be as potent, if at all, if they ate it tonight? The refrigerator is cool and dark...but the jelly on the sandwich is moist...could that have affected potency?

Eat it, let us know. Watch for mold.

There's only two possible answers:
1) eat it
2) don't eat it

Did you check for mold yet? How does it smell?
