I entered a radio contest to win a helicopter ride to work. (update)

And I think I might have a shot at winning. 


I'm basically supposed to write the morning show an email explaining why my morning commute blows and the winner gets flown to work in a helicopter and a paid lunch for them and 10 coworkers!  They had a long discussion about shitty commutes and decided to hold a contest for it.  I explained my shitty situation of sharing the car with my Dad and brother, and about all the construction occurring on the main highway that gets us both to work.  I basically drop my Dad off at his job then trek back out of my way to the highway and head 15 miles through morning traffic to work. 

I also used Google Earth to record a "tour" where I punch in the addresses and it automatically pans along the roads and makes it look like a birds eye view of my commute.  I made 2 videos, one for the ride to my Dad's work then one from there to my work.  I pulled them into Windows movie maker and gave it some title screens and a soundtrack (Chevelle - Seeing Red)  and even threw in a popular sound byte from the show, the scene from My Girl where she's at her friends funeral. "He can't see without his glasses!  Put his glasses on!"  :rofl: 

I really think I have a shot at this.  I'm hoping I'm the only one that thought to do such a thing and it really catches their attention.

UPDATE:

I didn't win.  Someone from the same town won though, and their first name sounded just like mine so when he started to announce the winner I'm like FUCK YEAAHHHHHAaaawwwwwwwwww dammit.  :lol:


That's cool though, I wont the Zombieland tickets for tonight anyway so I'm happy.
