There's hippies and then there's hippies.

I have no problem with being socially aware, loving the world and humankind, using drugs, etc.

What I have a problem with is hippy bullshit. Like the hippies who are so nonviolent that they are opposed to defending ones own family against violence.  Or the hippies who think that alcohol ought to be legal since it's more harmful than pot (prohibition is prohibition, its just a matter of whose drugs it favors; we should be working to end prohibition, not usher in a new era of it). Or the hippies who are so vegan they're opposed to anyone eating meat. Or the hippies that love and cherish animal life so much that they forget to care about people (people are animals too, brahs)

As rare as it is for me to agree with zappaisgod, I tend to agree with his view of hippiecraft, specifically that it's very often just fascist philosophy with a fashion makeover.

Not all hippies fall into that mold (hence my starting this post by saying that there's hippies and then there's hippies). But it's the neofascism on a vegan diet that leads to anti-hippy sentiments.

Nothing is wrong with hippies.  I am a hippy.  It is just a label.  But no one should be putting others down.  If everyone tripped enough on Mescaline, they should know we are all pure love and should not put others down for their beliefs...but we should also not allow other's to walk over us.

I've only had a handful of mescaline trips; but have tripped 100s of times on mushrooms and acid and can say the same thing applies for those.

I love Salvia.

I don't understand all the negative reviews.

Salvia is a playful, colorful substance.

It always leaves me feeling very happy and refreshed.

It's like a psychedelic anesthetic.

Such a stereotype.  Haha it's just kind of annoying hearing those same strikes over and over again...hippies can shower, I mean, it's not like when yo turn to peace and love the shower becomes a foreign object or anything...common sense would kinda tell you that. 

Nor is every hippie a vegetarian. 

Peace and love does not equal uncleanliness and veganism...lol sorry had to rant on that :smile:
