What kinda shrooms are these?

I know i have 8 grams.  My friend just came over and im already kinda buzzed, but i dont work tomorrow and i have these shrooms.  They look red with a little white.  or maybe orange.  Well, i need to know what kind they are and becuase of its type, how much should i ingest.    God that was hard to type  :confused:

Anything sold to you as 'shrooms' is going to be Psilocybe Cubensis unless you know otherwise.

But you said red, with a little white? That sounds like Amanita Muscaria. It's a totally different drug. I haven't tried them, and don't much care to, it sounds like a kind of drunken nauseous delirious trip from what I've read.

Ok, are they black&blue on the stems?
If so they're Psilos. I'd split the bag with your friend and eat 4g each.

Yeah, if they are Amanita, and you don't know about Amanitas then I would be very careful! There are also relatives of that family (orange or white) which are highly toxic! If you are not sure what you got then I would be damed careful!!! :shocked:

One of them is redish whitish..the rest are like a golden color. light brown, goldish. So u guys suggest not to eat the possible Aminita? Wnats the major difference?

Where did he get them from? Did he buy them? Did he grow them? Did he pick them in the back yard?

You got a digicam or a scanner? If you don't know what they are, I would suggest posting digital images in one of the mushroom forums, like the Hunting Forum, and having some of our resident experts help you ID them. :smile:

Well those are classic p. cubensis, so you are probably ok. The one that you say is red: is it just a redder color instead of the golden light brown of the others, but it has the same bulk and shape?

Amanita is totally different looking shroom. Short and squat, thick, different texture inside and out.

You're probably ok, but for legal reasons, I'm not going to say "take them." You'll have to make that decision for your self... :wink:

I didnt buy them, and why would i throw away possible mushrooms, thats a waste. Id rather check to see if they are mushies before throwing them away..

No, the red one is small and kinda fat. The head is like an oval almost. Im going to stay away from those. Well. Ima see how the others turn out. Ill post if they made me trip balls or not. thx
