if you zoom in on the open cap pic there is green on the gill at the bottom it too

Often times when I use multiple strains for a single grow the fruits do not produce spores. Did you use more than 1 "strain" in this grow?

lysol/other petrollium base products would cause mutants not sterility of your mushies.:thumbup:

contams dont do that either.  I still say just plain multi-spore luck, in feelfunnys case, repeated odd luck.:shrug:

mycelium responds to its environmental conditions quite a bit so try changing things up a lil, like fruiting in 5 degree lower temps or something like that thats an environmental change to see if that helps.

hmm maybe some kinda contam that makes the mushroom sterile?

Im going through the contam FAQ now but not finding anything linking contam to steril shrooms :shrug:

I wanna say genetics but since it is multispore and 3 diff strains it has to be some other factor.. this needs to be pin pointed..

maybe your shrooms saw the penis envy doing it and thought it looked cool.

maybe the shrooms know your tub has enough nutes for more flushes and will make spores on later flushes?

that looks like bruising from handling, but even if it was mold it wouldnt cause your caps to be sterile.:getstoned:


Maybe RR or someone has a explination for why this happens:shrug:

true, later flushes tend to be more on the "normal" side.

haven't had green bruising before? just all around weird i guess, maybe Emos or goth shrooms? just to sensitive

Ive had green, blue and all shades in between from bruising. 
the less oxidation on the bruise the lighter blue (more green) color it is.  if you have very hollow stems and bruise them they almost instantly turn dark blue due to a thinner myc membrane.

but thats off topic so maybe someone with more experience with this will stop by and give some info.

LMAO too funny.  I have had some Lipa Yai do the exact same thing in early flushes and leter produced shrooms with spores.  Three different flushes three different races?  Sounds environmental but you said your doing things the same. Thats fuct up.
