I wants to buy a WoW toon

Anyone had any personal experience with any sites selling lvl 80s or power lvling? I know of one, but it's pretty pricy to get to 80 from 1.

I could prolly do 1-60 myself in a couple weeks, but it's such a pain in and of itself.

I was thinking perhaps using my local craigslist and buying someone else's, but do any of you know if it's possible to get the original owner's info completely off the account after I take control of it? Last I remember the name is permanent or something. And of course the CDkey(s) too.

as long as you change the email associated with the account, the secret question, and the password, you can transfer accounts safely. the problem is, you need to actually call blizz customer support to change the email, which means you need to look up the personal information on the account info page before you call them (because they will ask you). otherwise the person you bought your account from can just call blizz, reset the password, and lock you out after they get payment.

idk about powerleveling. it seems pretty shady to be honest, but i'm sure there are some legit companies out there.

Im actually selling my account with 80 Mage Mostly ulduar gear... And 80 priest mostly naxx/ pvp gear.  Both are human alliance with transfers available.        On Eredar server.

They're too geared for me. I don't want to spend the $$$ on the PVE gear. I'm just going to PVP and get whatever season of arena gear BGs can earn and then prolly do some arena, if I even play again.

Well you'll need PvE gear to get PvP gear..

lvl80 PvP gear isnt easy to get either it takes a lot of honor/arena point
+a good arena rating to get the new season 6 gear.


Do you know what you want to play, faction, class & races wise?
Or do you not care..

if you are looking for a toon for PVP i HIGHLY suggest not buying a melee class. warrior is the worse. you have to be able to switch through your bars quickly to get to numerous hot keys.

some sites are legit, look for the sites that sell tons of toons. do your research first.

the name on the account can not be changed but what you can do is buy someones account then transfer your toon to your own account.

Eh I just need some decent blues to kill folks in BGs. Gotta start somewhere. :] Yeah I know the honor grind is a bit lengthy, I did it when lvl 70 was the cap and had almost every piece of whatever seaons arena the BGs gave (I think current season was 3 or 4 at the time and seaons 1 was what BGs got ya).

I'd like to play horde again. I might just buy WoW again and lvl myself. /sigh Probably will roll a couple undead toons. a rogue and a mage more than likely. I've played mage and lock before to max level (60 for the mage when 60 was the cap, she was a gnome, and then my lock was a lvl 70 undead when that was the cap and before locks were neutered (again)).

Btw, how are rogues and mages these days?

mages have gone down lately. but only because they were over powered. to be honest, blizz has made it so almost all of the toons are on a pretty level playing field. pre-BC other toons were definetly more powerful then others, but now it's not like that. but as far as mages go, at level 80 you get a skill that you can multiply yourself by 3 i think. thats a big help . and also at 72 i believe you can go invisible :smile: don't know my rogues though. i would suggest researching the talents on whatever toon you wanna BG with. that should help ya out.

If anyone is interested in euro toons, my BF has an account he never playes any more.  He gave it to me and I played a little while on his twink rog. its got 60 priest, 66 pally, a 19 twink rogue (just about the best possible gear from a year ago), including the arena trinket.  1k damage shield at lvl 19 allowed me to go into a room of 5-6 people and drop them all.  He doesnt care about it anymore, and is too lazy to sell it, but id sell it very cheap if anyone interested.

After playing wow for over 4 years and having fully cleared all end game content up until the release of wrath of the lich king, i would have to say you should totally just take it like a man and do the level grind yourself.
Extremely rewarding in the end when your sitting there in full epic raid gear knowing you did it all on your own.
