first timer seeking advice

Hello everybody,
    Well, I have been reading many many articles, teks, and so on for a couple weeks now. I think I am ready to gather up supplies and get my own grow started, but I have a few questions first. A little background info...

    I live in a relatively small apartment,no garage or basement. I also have a two year and a half year old, my wife is fine with the idea but has limited me to my own closet with a lock to keep our child out of it.
   
    1. If I use the shotgun FC will it get enough fresh air being in a closet with the door closed? ( I can rig up a light for pinning )
    2. Will my clothes have any odors that would make me smell like mushrooms, must, etc...
    3. A properly built shotgun requires no more or less than 1 mist, fanning per day, right? I work a crazy schedule sometimes.

    My only other choice would be a PMP but I think the shotgun would be much better for a beginner.

I personally would do the PMP route but i would wait for a trusted cultivator. Or maybe but a couple of 4# fans in the door of the closet going in?:shrug:

You would want to open the closet and fan it out at least once a day. Otherwise, you might be ok.
You probably want a small fan inside the closet, but not pointed at the FC.
A shotgun FC would like more than one mist and fan a day, but might do ok. Try it and see what you get.

I tried doing a monotub in a fairly large closet once, and they never fruited, I ended up with a contam, my first ever,  about 30 days into fruiting, but other factors may have played into that one too.  I think a pmp might provide a good environment with fresh air coming from the outside with the pump,  and misting and fanning once a day should be ok.
