Settings for a timer on aquarium bubbler

A foaf bought a timer for bubbler, it has 24 one hour settings. So is having a bubbler come on for 1 hr 3 times a day a good idea idea in a sterilite w/ perlite. There are 5-6 1/4, inch holes on the opposite side at bottom, litely filled w/polyfil.Should there still be fanning? Also everything is misted 1-2x's a day. Unfortunately this is all happening in an unused bedroom upstairs, we try to keep the heat from getting to crazy in there, but will fluctuations of 65 to 85-90 mess things up to much. Or should we relocate to the cellar for fruiting,but it may be to cool there. Any suggestions ?
