First timer (hopefully)

HI there.
I'd like to get a syringe or two and would like to try growing some shrooms. Im new to this and don't really know what to look for, or who to buy from. That also troubles me. I'm a little sceptical about buying this stuff. How does it come packaged??? Are there such things as "dud syringes"?
I'm also wondering about the yield per grow process. I don't want to sell any, but I would like to think I'd be able to grow more than I need for me and my girl for at least a few trips.
I have never eaten shrooms, although I do have an extensive history with LSD. The acid thats around nowadays just doesnt cut it. Its also very hard to find. I hear that shrooms are less harsh and last only half as long. Sounds too good to be true, which is what led me to the pursuit of shrooms :)
I'd sure like to try em. It's been quite a while since I've been to that place. I really need some soul enhancement.

Its not too terribly difficult. Just check the techs in the grow section of the shroomery.
For buying go with one of the big dealers, alot of them frequent these forums, there all good to their word.
I've never seen a "dud" syringe, if they are a SPORE syringe or print then they will grow.  I've only had a contaminated syringe once and I bought if from a less reputable dealer.
Usually they are discretely packaged and unless you are the wiser you can't tell them from any other package, prints are usually in an envelope and syringes usually come in a small unmarked box.

Welcome to the Shroomery!
To get a touch in the proces of mushroom cultivation you shoukd read the documents in the Find/Grow section.
The best method for the first timer is the PF-Tek. The Magic Mushrooms Growing Guide v3.2 is the same as the PF-Tek, just with some more variations.
I would advise you to use a pressure cooker for sterilization.
You will get high quality spores from all the vendors that are listed in Spores and Cultivation Supplies .

Thanks for the good words. I'll prolly buy from pf, or whatever the one is in seattle.
I did read the pf tek method and it seems all I have to worry about is sterility in the jars. Anyway, I'm gonna give it a whirl. I'm sure I'll be back with a few more questions. Seems like y'all got a nice bb goin here.
