OH MY GOD! I figured it out...

The reason all natures major disasters and huge negative effects like Global Warming are happening are in direct relation with how highly populated this world is becoming...

Think about it. The less colonized (or evolved) the intelligent humans get, the more nature thrives. We have become so intelligent that we have begun to RAPE nature, therefore causing global distasters like massive hurricanes and tidal waves to be happening.

And in 2012, the world will finally reach the population limit of a sustainable planet....
Because humans colonize and perhaps an exponential or mathematical rate, which was figured out by earlier civilazations such as the mayans and aztecas.

Oh fuck.

The federal government, or any government for that matter, is only as powerful as the enforcers it has on it's payroll. If, and more likely, when, things get bad enough, what is to stop a state that decides that it is the best welfare of it's citizens to leave the union?

Either our federal government must be radically overhauled, or this will occur within our lifetime. I have no doubt about that. As to what will happen I have no clue.

Despite what your backwoods educators may have taught you, Texas does not have the right to break away from the union at will.

EDIT: and don't take the whole "backwoods educators" thing as a personal insult, I went to school there too. :tongue2:

The US military will not attack it's own people, there's no way. Can you imagine if say, Texas attempts succession, and the next thing you know, there's video of US soldiers killing average citizens in Texas? Can you honestly suggest that in the current climate (or any climate for that matter) that there would be ANY support for such a move?

Whattheheck, you are absolutely right. The US is not going to attack its own citizens, but...if they did, don't you think it would be very easy for that to be covered up by the Americans? I mean, we have been keeping alien secrets and government agendas pretty damn secret for all these years.
