need to get blank syringes, need to know what size

so i now need to get some blank syringes, but i know very little about them.  i just need some for the spore prints i made, and im not gonna reuse the old syringes.  so can someone tell me what guage and length i should use. thanks

most commercially available spore syringes are 10cc with a 16-18 gauge needle. there is nothing wrong with using old syringes, though.

10 or 12 cc/ml with size 18 needle thats as long as you want most are 1-1/2 inch.

but if you ever use LCs get a big ass 60 cc/ml syringe they use the same needles and come in handy.

I get mine at our TSC (Tractor Supply Company) store:thumbup:

Doesn't really matter that much. Don't use those tiny Diabetic needles though.

They are much too small.

The bigger, the better IMO

I can't recommend a website but I can say I have had good experiences with B-D syringes.

10ml x 20g x 1.5"

they should be okay for spores, but if you're planning LC go bigger.

so the 20g will work ok you think?  i will definitely go bigger when i do my LC, but for now i really need to get a few blanks becuase i have some fresh spore prints i want to use to make syringes.

Thats the site I order all mine from.  They're fast and reliable.  I use 10cc, 18ga. 1.5" for spores, and 60cc, 16ga. 1.5" for LC.

just to be clear, 10ml is equal to 10cc's right?  i would hate to buy the wrong size!

I too, as Lostkeys, order from the same place & have always had reliable results. And just to further the notion.. 10cc for spores and 60cc for LC. It's just a good setup.
