Im willing to give self reflection a try.
I like to have a girlfriend who was my best friend too.
Im obviously doing something wrong if ive been single this long.

I wish I was an enlightened being; but I am not....I mean Ive been really trying to examine my approach and figure out what was wrong. Its not as easy for me and I am left dumbfounded. What might be rightly apparent to you just isnt to me.


Okay....so justifications aside; and owning up to the fact that I dont love the people I fuck; where do I go from there?

You guys are very immature. Every girl is not a bitch looking to ruin your life. Find a nice girl with similar intrest who wants the same thing you want and enjoy life. The problem is that most of you don't take the time to find the right girl. And you settle for the first cute skank who wants some regular dick.

You have to make them girls beg for it... control your desires and maintain your composure... after a weeks the ladies you are dating will really want a relationship...

if you just jump into bed with these women right away the relationship starts off wrong... and it seems that the girls lose interest quickly...

at least that has been my experience.

In the past Ive skipped the dating and jumped right into bed. This lead to feelings of regret and me never wanting to talk to the woman again.

How does the whole dating thing work without seeming awkward and staged?

#1 dating is always staged, you have expectations and so does she. The idea is, as you know, not to jump into bed but to spend time together like you would with the lady friend you described before. go out for some mediocre food or drinks and get to know the person on a personal level, not about their drama but who they are, what they like to do, what they care about, or what they plan to accomplish. if you take someone out and find yourself uninterested with such conversation you're either not ready to have a relationship or shes not the right one (most likely). just make another good lady friend with the intentions of taking it to the next level while flying way clear of her friend zone. from what you've described about yourself making friends with a nice young female shouldn't be especially difficult either.

I am sure people are going to give you some shit for posting this, but I feel exactly how you do. I am engaged, but I couldn't be happy without a relationship. Fucking is fucking, it's not love. You can find the right girl, but you have too go out and search for it and not just think it's going to come to you. I think you could be looking in the wrong places. Bar, club, any place where you can meet a girl and fuck her in less than a week of meeting her is the wrong type of girl. Believe it or not those speed dating things that people do can be fun and you can actually meet people. I went with some friends once and ended up having a four month relationship with a girl that was great but we ended it because I was moving. They have both had (my friends) several relationships that have lasted 2 months-15 months. Go out and try new things. As longas you have your heart in the right place and search for love, you will find it. Good luck. Your karma is good.
