holy shit i have the same exact problem, i don't like talking or looking at ppl in the face when i smoke mj, i had that same problem when i was like 4 to 10 years of age too though. i have a lil bit of a problem with it still now i think.

I got this same exact effect when I was overdoing the weed.  Social anxiety to the max, didn't say a word in conversation, and was just generally out of it.

Lately though I've been easing back into it, and I've found that with moderation and infrequent use I've gotten much better.  The main part of what helped me was just getting up the balls to say fuck it and just start talking, regardless if I thought I was saying something stupid or irrelevant.

Why do you keep bumping this?  There isn't even a question in the original post, and you've got a lot of good feedback on the issue... what more are you hoping for?

(Not trying to be a dick, but if there's something specific you're looking for, asking a question works better than saying "bump")

Probably just a nervous tick or mabbe a hiccup.  Seriously though, these guys are probably plotting some evil shit on the guy that blew them off after they got him high.  I can psychically see they are instant messaging right now over it.

I've got complete empathy for your situation.  I just didn't understand the bumps.  Like I said, asking a question will get you more directly productive feedback than just saying "bump"

Then you confront him explaining to him in 100% seriousness that it's cause you have a cold or something.
You expect to be taken seriously, kinda, they laugh it off, you feel(and look) like a boob.
If they ask, tell them you don't smoke much, and that they had some killer cronic, knocked you on your ass.
And now you'll take up that offer on the chicken sammich, after you smoked the doobie with them that YOU bring.

BWAhahahaha, so, my guess is you were still high while writing this. and if you dont smoke much, chances are, you SEEMED quite high to the ppl you we chillin with. so im sure they just dismissed you being quiet as a 'he's just sooper high' sorta thing. i wouldnt stress over it to much, weed tends to make me overanalys things in my head, which often leads to being quiet while hizzle, so i see where your coming from.
if your not a talkative person normally, then dont stress out thinking 'i need to be social while high and around people' just be you, maybe practice random conversation with strangers. talking about things that interest me is a surefire way to keep me talking about a subject- so find a way to discuss things you like while getting high...weed for instance...this one time i was at band camp smokin weed with the counselor...haha,no....not really, but i think you can get the idea

I hate to break it to ya, but saying "no" when someone offers you something isn't being polite.

You'd have to say 'no thanks' or 'no, but thanks for the offer'....you sound like a pretty inconsiderate person, and the only reason you made this thread was out of guilt.

Weed is known to make some people less social...but it isn't the norm to assume this when somebody is perceived to be rude-especially for a stranger.
