Black spots in my rye jar...

This rye jar has been sitting in my fridge for about 2-3months, I checked it a few days ago and found a few little black spots. There's another jar in there that looks absolutely fine.

The spots pictured are the largest and there's no more than around ten against the wall of the jar.

I'm planning on shutting down operations for a while so was planning on straight casing the last two jars I have as a trade off between least effort (in vitro pinning) and highest yield (innoculating bulk), so my question is - will this jar be ok to fruit?

Go ahead and case it.  It's probably just old metabolites.  It's definitely not pin mold, which is what I expected to see.
