Black Spot on Substrate..Throw It Out?

Hey all, my cat checked on his jars earlier and noticed that there was a small black spot in one of the jars. He thinks it's contamintation but wants to know if he should let it go and see if the mycelium will grow over it or throw it out. He told me the other jars were fine and colonizing fast. He also wants to know if that one jar will contaminate the other jars. Thanks

Isolate that jar and make sure the spot doesnt grow. I had one jar with that and it never grew. It could just be dirt or dust that was in the verm
