Yes, reality is working out just fine.  I dream big, and hate myself, but I only hate myself when I'm not dreaming big.

My professional life is completely different from where I thought it would be before I started using psychedelics.  Materially, I am not where I thought I would be, nor am I doing what I thought I would be doing for money.  I am doing work that is very good for my soul though, and its in an environment wherein I can learn things about myself that I wouldn't be able to learn otherwise.  Materially, one may say I failed, but in life experience, I have won, compared to if my initial "fast track to success" had panned out and I had become a slave to the almighty $$$.  Hehehe

I feel that you probably already know from experience about which drugs are good for you for what, and which are escape mechanisms.  Don't worry about what others think of you, even God.  Look at yourself with your own eyes, you are truly your own judge, no one else. 

If you take careful observation of yourself, you can note any negative tendencies, and intend on changing those tendencies.

It may take time, but seriously, just noting when you are doing something destructive is enough to eventually change your behavior.  Just don't beat yourself up, know that whenever you really want to, you're going to just change and be a better person.  It happens everyday.  Visualize, execute.  Rinse, repeat.

Sorry if that last little ramble didn't make sense, but it just seems to me like perhaps you are concerned with the way your drug use is affecting your life and your image;  just want to remind you, that people will see who you project, so just practice projecting whatever parts of you that you enjoy, and make your life!
