AGAR, first time questions

ok so im gonna try to use agar to create a supply of mycelium that i can use to inoculate wild bird seed, rye, horse poo or whatever substrate. im pretty sure i got the concept down, i've watched the "lets grow mushrooms" video over and over and am gonna try to use agar instead of making brf cakes.  so can someone please tell me about some sources where i can order some agar mix (dextrose if needed) and peatri dishes.  also i would appreciate if someone with more experience can let me know if its a decent idea to use agar for storing mycelium and using a piece of that to inoculate a substrate for bulk growing, because these brown rice flour cakes are getting annoying with their weak yields, and i also want to advance my mycology research into growing larger crops with higher yields.  please give me some info, thanks.
