I cloned it recently and have grain jars colonizing now.
I will try to inoculate straw/dung mixture in PP bags and then case it in a similar way as cubes.

gsa and i failed to get cultures to take from wild specimens....
anyone else?
there are parameters in the mushroom cultivator.

i mean the tissue was too old and didn't grow out at all.
the butts sat in the fridge for three days before the plates were made.
poor technique.
i know.
how does one get prints from shaggies, by the way, anyone have suggestions?
i keep seeing them fruiting on the sides of the interstate, and i wouldn't eat them, but printing would be cool, if that is not impossible.

Same as with any other mushroom.
The only problem is that you have to literally watch it while printing, if you are an hour too late, the mushroom will liquefy to a black mass.

I went to my favorite shaggy mane spot and took a few pictures.


Really large specimens that didn't readily turn to ink. I am attempting to clone the strain.



A strange short stemmed version. I am also attempting to clone this strain although it seems inferior.



Some exceptionally dense clusters of shaggy manes.
